1) You must provide your own Face Mask & Gloves - Mask Required (& possibly) gloves in the food area. 2) NOT enough chairs for everyone, bring your own. Sanitizer Wipes available for club chairs as needed. 3) (100+ people) everyone will be required to wear masks. 4) Safe Distance (6ft) Practice is your responsibility! 5) Mask are Mandatory in the FOOD LINE. 6) Sanitizer will be provided at various tables. Your goal is 100% State, County, City compliance
The Greater Southwest Aero Modelers, Inc. is a nonprofit organization. Membership is nondiscriminatory and open to anyone who agrees to abide by Club By-Laws. A condition of membership, for insurance purposes, is current affiliation with the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). The address of the GSWAM flying facility is 6903 Randol Mill Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76120. Google Map Link. The Greater Southwest Aero Modeler’s of Ft. Worth, TX Club is a model aircraft/helicopter club established in 1972. We are proud to be a diverse group of area residents having seasoned flyers through beginners of all ages. Interests include R/C sport flying, scale, combat, racing quadcopters, pylon, helicopters, gliders, and control line aircraft. Club membership allows use of the club flying field: 500 feet by 75 feet of golf green quality grass runway, 150 feet of covered area with tables for setting up equipment, water fountain, electricity, soft drink machine, and concession area. We now also have a quadcopter track for racing quads and other multi-rotor craft.
Scheduled events throughout the year insure opportunities for fun, light hearted competition and community involvement.
Monthly meetings give members an opportunity to display their latest aircraft, building techniques, and plan future events. Programs on a wide variety of model aeronautic related subjects are scheduled for most meetings.
A Monthly Newsletter is sent to all members with updates on club activities.

Meeting time and locations: Regular Club business meetings are held at 7:30 P.M. on the second Tuesday of each month at the Massey Mcdonalds restaurant located at Precinct Line #25720 – 769 Airport Fwy Hurst, TX 76053.
Membership in the Academy of Model Aeronautics is a requirement for membership in the club.
Yearly Club Dues
Yearly dues for full membership in the club is $100.00 which includes all club benefits. New members joining during the first year shall pay an additional $50.00 initiation fee.
AMA Membership Fees:

•65 & over – $65
•Under 19 – Free
•Additional family members – $30 Benefits
